How do I obtain help when my computer is not connecting correctly to the UNC computer network?

For issues with both wired and wireless connections follow the instructions in this setup guide. (In the event this link is broken, navigate to help.unc.edu and select Networking on the left of the screen. Under Networking, select Connecting to the Network. If additional help is needed, obtain it from the UNC School of Medicine’s IT Services. (In the event this link is broken go to https://www.med.unc.edu/it/.) On the School of Medicine’s IT Services webpage, there are links available where you can engage in a live chat, request an IT consultation, speak to an IT representative, or issue a help request.

If all else fails, you can obtain help from UNC’s Information Technology Services (ITS) by calling 919- 962-HELP.
